This article analyzes the processes of technological and institutional modernization of information and library services in the Kashkadarya region. The study examines the level of digitalization of information and library institutions, opportunities for the use of electronic resources, the implementation of automated library systems, and the factors affecting service quality. In addition, the management model of information and library centers, their regulatory and legal framework, and the level of application of modern information and communication technologies were evaluated. The findings reveal the need to further digitalize library services, expand electronic catalog databases, and develop remote user service systems.
